got some work to do.

UGH!  I have some work to do on my blog.  appears the image hosting site that I was using is about to go belly up.  that means I have to transfer many of the images I use on my blog to another image hosting site.  maybe an hours worth of work to do.

decided on going with photobucket.com.  service is free.  and can do my slideshows too.  need to get the transfer done before february 1st.  still have a couple of days.

it's about 1pm now.  my maid, pond, came in at noon to clean up my place.  she's almost done.  after she leaves, I'm not sure what to do.

frankly,  I don't  feel like doing anything right now.  ..oh yeah.  need to pay the rent and the bills.  one more load of laundry.

still have half a pot of split pea soup to sip on.

stay home and watch some movies...

today is january 28, 2012.  for some reason, I don't feel like going out at all.  doing some laundry. watching some movies.

it's about 5:30pm now.  have a new pot of split pea soup to sip on.  got a loaf of multigrain bread to go with it.  been sipping all day. eating mandarin oranges on the side.  hot coffees..

the movies that I've been watching while doing my laundry include moneyball, contagion, war horse, the help, and the girl with a dragon tattoo.

contagion was the first movie I saw today..  good movie.  better than I thought it would be.  just finished watching moneyball.  it started out really slow.  but ended pretty good.  brad pitt was excellent in it.

got 3 more movies to see....  will probably finish up with them at around 10/11pm thereabouts.

absolutely no desire to go out.  thinking of paying my rent and bills tomorrow.  making plans to go back to the states for 2 to 3 months.

back to pattaya on tuesday.  a small chance that I might go back to pattaya on monday.  really miss the circuits on the beach every night. 

would you believe it if I told you the 2 or 3 circuits every night in pattaya are making me stronger?  I can actually feel the difference from walking so much in the last month.  I want to go back.  maybe increase the circuits to 4 a night.

how to stop getting junk mail.

you know...  I was thinking about the junk mail I receive.  it's not a lot.  but my buddy, F7, has to deal with it for me.  and frankly, I don't want him to.

so, just now, I did a google search to find out ways to get rid of the junk mail.

it's about 9:30pm.  woke up from an unexpected power nap.  yeah.  you got it right.  I didn't make it to the 7:30pm free buffet.  didn't make it to the parking lot tonight either.  I pettered out big time just when I was getting ready to leave my place.

I think I'll just vege the rest of the night.  obviously, my body was more tired then I believed it to be.

in bangkok YET again.

yes, I'm back.  got back at 3pm.  it's about 6pm now.  spent the last couple of hours updating and backing up my computers here in bangkok.

in about an hour, I plan on making my way to the 7:30pm free buffet.  it's been 2 weeks since I last went there.  will probably not stay out late tonight.  I'm pooped.

tomorrow, I am just going to do chores.  3 loads of laundry followed by some grocery shopping.  pay my rent and my monthly bills.

going back to pattaya on tuesday.

Singapore Jimmy is in TOWN!

last night, singapore jimmy blessed us with his presence.  there I was sitting with the cornhusker over near the mike shopping mall.  and he pops out of the woodwork.  haven't seen him in about a month or two.  one of my bangkokbuddies in bangkok.  he decided to take a break from the big city and spend a few days in pattaya.  we talk.  we do intros.

nothing much else happened last night.  just another night at the beach...   from the beginning...

like the day before, I woke up at around 1pm.  laid in bed for about 2 hours watching tv and twiddling my thumbs.  yeah.  it takes a little while to get my engine running.

at around 3pm, I worked on my blog for maybe 15 minutes to write the previous post on the ayutthaya thai massage place.

then, I did some research on the internet in regards to some political interests of mine.  add another hour of playing computer games.

at around 6pm, I did the 3S routine.  got my butt out of bed.  out the door at 6:30pm.  at the promenade at precisely 7pm. ..nobody else around at the time.

texted snoopy and barnaby.  barnaby replies with a simple "25 minutes".  snoopy tells me he's drinking coffee at the LK Express.  I go down there to join him.  the guy treats me to a hot coffee.  guess you could say he was in a good mood.  we talk.  we ogle the street scene.

at around 7:30pm, I see jay leno, and rodney dangerfield speeding down beach road.  they're doing what I would say is a 15 minute circuit.  that's a fast walk to nowhere.  what for?  I don't know?  maybe 50 yards behind them, I see the man of the hour - howling howie - bringing up the rear at a tortoise pace.  they are headed in the direction of the promenade.

maybe 10 minutes later, I finish up with my free hot coffee and take my leave from snoopy.  head in the direction of promenade hoping to catch up with the lounge lizards that I had just saw racing down the street.

I get to the promenade huffing and puffing.  didn't see the other guys.  but I did see thomas jefferson.  we talk.  barnaby pops out of the woodwork at around 7:50pm.  we talk seriously about nothing for about 10 minutes.  then, we start on our first circuit of the night.  at mike's shopping mall, I see the cornhusker.  decide to sit down.  let barnaby and thomas jefferson continue on.

this is when singapore jimmy made his dramatic entrance.  stage right.  5 steps.  and there he was - in all his splendor. the man of no skills.  a fellow bum.  the one and only.  it's singapore jimmy.  clap, clap, clap.  we talk.  we do intros.

next thing you know, within about 15 minutes, we have a board meeting..  maybe 7 different lounge lizards join us.  ROLL CALL!..  jay leno, rodney dangerfield, barnaby, thomas jefferson, jim morrison, uncle sam, the viking, the cornhusker, singapore jimmy, kaito, newguy, snoopy, howling howie.  we talk.  we ogle.

at around 9pm, I decide to get something to eat.  I have mcdonalds on my mind.  singapore jimmy joins me.  we do mcdonalds at the avenue mall.  after the meal,  we head back to the beach.

didn't see anybody. a quick text.  I get a reply from snoopy.  barnaby, howling howie, and he are eating at the hi-so pizza parlor.  I'm sitting with singapore jimmy at the promenade.  singapore jimmy starts into this rant about all the scum and riffraff that hang out on beach road.  I'm thinking to myself.. is he talking about me?  (...just joking.  hehehe.)

at around 9:45pm, I decide to go get an hour foot massage.  singapore jimmy walks with me until we get to the turnoff at starbucks.  I say goodbye to jimmy.

the second I enter the ayutthaya massage place, I see rodney dangerfield, jay leno, babe, catherine, juliet.  I start my massage at around 9:55pm.  rod stewart joins us.  he's got a big bowl of popcorn.  jay leno dives into it like it's the end of the world. within 5 minutes, it's all gone.

I go into slumber land for about 30 minutes.  effects of the good massage that I was getting from juliet.

at around 10:30pm, snoopy enters the place.  we talk.  at 11pm, I finish up with my massage.  decide to go to the villa market.  snoopy joins me.  we do window shopping.  after we leave the villa market, we part.

I take the long way back home.  go along beach road.  home at midnight.

it's about 5:30am now.  toilet run.  thinking another 2 hours of sleep.  then, get up. go back to bangkok at around 9am.  eta noon?

free buffet in bangkok at 7:30pm.  that's the plan.  back to sleep.
