whew! back on the internet.

for close to a whole day, I was not able to connect to the internet. the wi-fi service in the hotel that I was in in pattaya went down on me. ugh!

anyway, I'm back in bangkok now. got back at about 4pm. took a shower and started doing some laundry now.

guess I should report what happened yesterday....

if I recall right, I woke up yesterday at around 2pm. got a call from errol flynn. asked me if I wanted to get a foot massage at this place called "the wellness center". since I had just woke up, I was not able to oblige. BUT after doing my "getting ready to go out" routine, I made it over at around 4pm.

and boy! am I glad I did. not too often do I find a masseuse who is what I call a "doctor". an expert in the art. this young girl didn't tickle my feet, nor hurt me with the wooden peg. after the massage, I was re-energized. my guess is - she isn't aware of her talent. errol flynn came by while I was getting the massage, and did another hour. cost for the 2 hour massage - 350 baht. (she's on my list of therapeutic masseuse.)

after the massage, errol flynn and I checked out this indian food place. sort of tucked away in the middle of this quiet mall, the cost of the buffet was 200 baht. the place didn't have any ambience like music or pretty girls to look at. just good food. I like indian food. the curries, nann bread, lentils, etc.

after dinner, we walked along the beach a little. bumped into a number of lounge lizards. barnaby, einstein, kaito, thomas jefferson, john adams. met a new girl.. I will call her "darling".

at around 10pm thereabouts (I think), errol flynn and I left the beach road lounge lizards, and hooked up with some of the bay area boyz who were roaming around the gogo bars on walking street. saw some stunners at club boeshei over on soi 16. ogle, ogle, ogle.

at around 11pm, the priest made a surprise appearance. crazy guy came all the way from bangkok at the spur of the moment just to hang out with us. all together, I think we checked out like 6 gogo bars.

while walking around walking street, I saw wesley snipes. he tells me he's in town for a few months. the guy loves pattaya.

after the gogo bars, the priest and I went back to beach road to wander around a little. we had a midnight snack at burger king. thinking that maybe somebody would still be hanging out at the happy hunting ground, we went there. but alas, it was too late for people to be hanging out. I think it was like 2 or 3am at the time.

we went home soon thereafter. I went to sleep at 4am. woke up at about 9:30am. checked out of the hotel. went to the apex breakfast buffet to meet up with the priest, and kaito for breakfast at 11am. we hung out there for about 2 hours.

at around 1:30pm, I went to beach road soi 6 to check out some new hotels that harrison ford, and the watcher told me about. showed the priest around a little. he seemed to like the scene there. for 600 baht, I think I will try one of the new hotels the next time I'm in pattaya. (probably in 10 days. hehehe.)

while checking out the soi 6 scene with the priest, I got a couple of calls from mike jagger. tried to call the watcher. he's so elusive.

boarded the 2:20pm bus for bangkok. and here I am.. writing this post. it's about 6pm now.

had a great time in pattaya this time around.

anyway, no plans for tonight. need to do another load of laundry. afterwards, I don't know. may just veg at home tonight to rest a little.

the bay area boyz are coming back to bangkok tomorrow. the priest said he will come back tomorrow or the next day.

oh. one last thing... it's whatshisface's birthday. happy birthday, guy.

it was one long day.

woke up at noon. laid in bed for an hour. called errol flynn to see if he was interested in checking out the cemetary where pat ho is. we met at 2pm thereabouts. made it to the cemetary at about 2:30pm.

we located where pat ho's ashes are interned. but there is no plaque designating the location yet. the cemetary folks said it would be completed in a month.

after checking out the cemetary, errol flynn and I did some window shopping. checked out some stores across the street from the st. nickolas church.

at around 5pm, I went to central festival mall to hangout a little. then, I went walking along the beach.

at around 7pm, I joined up with the bay area boyz for dinner at this korean restaurant at the royal garden mall. it's errol flynn's birthday, people. attending the dinner - whatshisface, santa claus, errol flynn, 2 others plus moi.

at around 9pm, we all went our separate ways. I made a beeline to the beach. met up with barnaby. saw a number of lounge lizards. iron man, thomas jefferson, benjamin franklin, george washington, john adams, mike jagger, hawaiian bill, the watcher. yes, I guess you could say there was a board meeting. lots of people around.

had a great time ogling people. met 3 new girls. that's always good fun.

at around 11pm, I left everybody to go see a movie. movie started at 11:40pm, and ended at about 1:30am.

after the movie, I walked along the beach for awhile by myself. then, I went back to my hotel at about 2am. going to sleep in a minute. the time showing on my clock - 2:50am.

lately, a number of lounge lizards have..

been reading my mind. within a few minutes of my waking up, I've been getting phone calls from people. talk about coincidences.

just now. within a minute of my waking up, I got this phone call from singapore jimmy. he's calling to let me know he going back to bangkok.
yesterday, it was errol flynn and another person.

anyway, I'm awake now. I think I'll eat a simple breakfast in a minute. a piece of that pannini bread I purchased last night with a cup of orange juice. afterwards, go into my "prepare to go out" routine.

I'm thinking of going over to the cemetary to visit pat this afternoon. will see if errol flynn is interested in joining me.

later on, no plans. will probably contact the other guys in town to see what they are up to. mike jagger, the watcher, etc. barnaby said he would be returning today from bangkok. kaito is coming in tomorrow.

I've paid up for 3 nights. returning to bangkok on thursday. the bay area boyz say they are returning to bangkok on friday. that's the latest from bangkokbuddy central.

iron man asked me to post this story..

about an ongoing issue that he's confronted with. at first, I was hestitant to do as he requested. but then I said to myself, this story should be investigated. so, here we are. after reading the iron man's story, let me know what you lounge lizards think.

here's the scoop.

iron man was going out with this girl in pattaya for a short period of time. the relationship didn't work out. so, naturally, he spoke to the girl to discontinue the relationship.

for some reason, the girl wouldn't accept the end of the relationship. and started to harass iron man to no end. naturally, iron man went to the police in pattaya in the hopes of having them put a restraining order on the girl.

what the police suggested iron man do was to pay her a bribe to have her stop. iron man told me he even signed some paper to document this "bribe" being paid to the girl.

what did iron man pay the girl? figures of about 20,000 baht were mentioned.

get this. even after paying the bribe, this girl wouldn't stop harassing iron man. in fact, she wanted more money. iron man tells me the pattaya police won't do anything.

he has even hired a lawyer to represent him hoping that he could get this girl off his back. guess what the lawyer told him? it's a scam pushed by the corrupt police in pattaya to extort money from foreigners. the lawyer says there's nothing he can do and that the only recourse that iron man has is to maybe get the police in bangkok involved.

could this story be true?

pass the word around guys. and see if anybody else out there who is being faced with the same scenario that iron man is facing.

personally, I have never had no problems with the authorities here in thailand. in fact, life couldn't be better.

but for iron man's sake, let's see how this all pans out.

again, guys.. let me know if you have heard of any other people living in thailand who are experiencing what iron man is currently dealing with.

there's nothing I can really do. but I do know some people who know some people "upstairs" so to speak. if there turns out to be a lot of feedback, we can push this issue forward.

not to disbelieve iron man. but it may be possible that this problem he is encountering is just a misunderstanding.

many different things happened.

once I got all my things squared away at my apartment, I made a beeline to the A&W for some fried chicken. the watcher joined me. he had a waffle with ice cream.

after "lunch", we walked along the beach. bumped into singapore jimmy. I was really tired for some reason. so, I went back to my hotel room, and took a power nap. ended up being 2 hours.

when I woke up, I contacted errol flynn. meet up at the discount bakery at the central festival mall at 9pm. singapore jimmy called. told him to meet up at same place.

like clockwork, we all meet up at around 9pm. errol flynn tells me it's his birthday. I want to treat him. but he treats me instead. what a guy!

we do hot coffees in the mall. while hanging out at the mall, people start funneling in. ..turns out it is raining cats and dogs. this was like at 10pm at night.

not much we can do. so, for dinner, we do burger king. I try their version of the mcspicy chicken burger. imo, no comparison to mcdonalds version. costs more, and doesn't have quite the same taste.

while waiting the rain out, singapore jimmy asks us if we would like to see movie since we couldn't go out bacause of the rain. errol flynn declines because he has a date. I join singapore jimmy for the movie. we see predators.

while waiting in line to get our tickets for the movie, general patton walks up. he's seeing the movie too. haven't seen general patton in ages. looking good. lives in pattaya now.

movie started at 11pm, and ended at around 1am. after the movie, we walk the beach a little. the rain has stopped by now. and the temperatures are great. feels like san francisco.

I walk along the beach with singapore jimmy for about an hour. then, I leave him to go home. tired.

it's about 3am now. time to go to sleep.

just arrived into pattaya.

the time is 4:55pm. I arrived into pattaya at 3pm on the dot. it took me this long to get myself situated in my hotel with everything unpacked. bought food for the frig.

everything is settled. I can hang out now.

barnaby told me yesterday that beach road was packed with vendors. but when I came into town a couple of hours ago, most of the vendors were gone. and it seemed like normal.

the watcher tells me the bars are closed tonight and tomorrow night. I saw mike jagger the second I got to my hotel. but he's hanging out with hawaiian bill, and somebody else.

hawaiian bob told me that he won't be coming down from bangkok.

hungry as hell. got to run now. guess where to? A&W. where else? later.

what is the most important thing in life?

to this lounge lizard.. it is "happy memories".

anyway, as scheduled, I made it to the parking lot at 9pm. and the big T at 10pm.

actually, I arrived to the parking lot early. so, I went over to the mcdonalds next door to try out their "mcSpicy chicken" sandwich. jack dawson was raving about it the other day on his blog. so, I tried it.

sure enough, he was right. mcdonalds has a winner with their new "mcSpicy chicken" sandwich. diet permitting, I will have another one in the coming days.

get this. guess who popped out of the woodwork while I was eating my "mcSpicy chicken"? jack dawson himself. and soobig park. we talked.

after the quick snack, I went over to the parking lot. lo and behold, barnaby and kaito were there. some more talk. we hung out at the parking lot until about 10pm. and then, we made our way to the big T.

on our walk over to the big T, I bumped into the professor, and duece bigalow. a few quick words of acknowledgement, and we continued our journey over to the big T.

we got to the big T at about 10:05pm. the place was pretty much dead. totally different from the way it was a couple of days ago. everyone is saying it's because tomorrow is a thai holiday.

a number of lounge lizards were there nevertheless. roll call... mr. kimme, kaito, da brain, barnaby, big skippy, the smothers brothers, betty boop, babycheeks, cleopatra. I saw the new girl that I met yesterday. but she scares me. too serious. does it make sense to tell someone you want to be their girlfriend when you only know them for less than an hour? ...YOU tell me.

since I am going to pattaya tomorrow, I decided to go home early. left the place at about 11:15pm. walked out the door with da brain, and barnaby. took the last underground train to go home.

and here I am writing this post. the time on my clock - 12:33am. going to sleep within an hour.
