did the free buffet and the big T.

that was it for the entire day. woke up at 3pm. super glenn asked me why I didn't answer his calls last night. ..what can I say? .I'm a sleepy head. a couch potatoe. one of those guys that some people hate because all we do is take up space. we don't work. we don't complain about life. we just exist.

the neurotics hate us because we are happy.

drinking hot coffees and eating buffets all the time make them crazy.

to all the neurotics out there. (..yeah. you know who you are.) guess what I did tonight? went to this free buffet. they had beef stew with french bread. ALL YOU CAN EAT! a few slices of watermelon for dessert. couldn't ask for anything more. I savored every mouthful like it would be my last. aaaahhhhhh!

anyway, enough with the focus on the neurotics. hanging out with them will make you neurotic. argh!

after the free buffet, I went to the parking lot to see what was up there. it was drizzling at the time. sort of depressing. hardly anybody around. didn't even see the handsome man who pretty much lives in the lot. he likes looking at cars and "other" things.

maybe 15 minutes of the parking lot. then, I went to the big T. it was around 9pm. early. somchai tells me that big skippy was there last night. (sorry I missed you, bro.)

I hung out at the big T for only about an hour. ogling the girls was ok. but I really wanted to play my starcraft 2. so, I went home.

after playing starcraft 2 for about 2 hours, I spoke to da brain in the states using my magicjack. and now, I'm writing this post on my blog.

in a minute, I'll go back to my starcraft 2. ..I'm thinking of going to the chatuchak flea market tomorrow to do some window shopping. ..that is, if I can get up. lazy me.

REMINDER: got to do a 90 day notice on monday.

talk about having withdrawal pains... UGH!

a few days ago, I went over to the true ISP to get my internet access upgraded from 4mb to 6mb. ..thought it would be a piece of cake since it took only like 5 minutes to put the request in.

BUT then, the day after... I got this call from da brain telling me that his internet is messed up. (yeah. he made the change too.) wanting to see what he was talking about, I turned on my pc. and NO INTERNET!!!!

I got into a frenzy trying to find out what was wrong. this all happened while da brain was at the airport the other day waiting to leave bangkok. UGH!

anyway, my internet is ok now. just got a call from some person at true ISP. and like magic, I've got internet again. thank god.

I'm not stressed out now, people. got access to my starcraft 2 again.

for about a day there, I was stuck without the internet.. my blog, my starcraft 2, etc. to satisfy my need to play a computer game, I reinstalled my old starcraft 1. and played that.

it's about 4pm now on friday. spoke to super glenn for a few minutes just now. he's returning to hawaii tonight. also read da brain's latest entry on his blog. he's already back in the states. talk about fast.

I think I'll play my starcraft 2 now for a couple of hours. then, head over to the free buffet later tonight. that's the plan.

made it to the big T last night...

I was hoping to see big skippy. but that didn't happen. as expected, a lot of people were there. I expected such since it is the end of the month. payday. everybody has money to spend.

I popped into the place at around 9:30pm. lo and behold, the minute I sat down, I saw someone who I rarely see hanging out in the big T. it was david letterman. he was hanging out with this new guy who wishes to remain anonymous. so, he won't be getting a nickname on my blog. we talked for about 30 minutes.

during the time I was talking to david letterman, another couple of lounge lizards that rarely stop by the big T came by to hangout. this time, it was super glenn. and he too brought over a new guy that wanted to remain anonymous. we talk about chelation therapy.

being anonymous is a big thing at the big T.

so, I talk to super glenn for about an hour. at around 11:30pm, he leaves the place. I follow him outside. and decide to hang out in the front of the big T.

like maybe 15 minutes into hanging out in the front, mr. nonami, the handsome man, and buckteeth billy walk by. I talk with mr. nonami for a few minutes. and then, they all go off to some other place.

I see a number of other lounge lizards who are part of the cast at the big T. ..dalai lama, gorgeous, chicken wing lady, betty boop, little bo peep.

at maybe 1:30am, it starts to drizzle a little. so I decide to take a taxi home.

never did see big skippy.

I think I'll stay in tonight. and just play my starcraft 2. ogling people is fun. but I think I'm getting tired of the scene a little.

september 3rd is my anniversary date since moving over to bangkok some 12 years ago. ..or was it 13 years??? I can't remember. time flies. oh well.

back to starcraft 2.

wow! I just woke up, and...

it's about 3pm. actually, these are normal lounge lizard hours for me. last night, I went to sleep at around 5am after playing starcraft for like 8 hours.

latest status...

got email from obi wan. coming on november 1st. joke mail from super glenn and the sarge. it appears big skippy was back in the states for a while. (forgot that he went.) he says he has a present for me. hehehe. a can of dinty moore beef stew???

I'm thinking of going to the big T tonight to hangout some. it's been over a week. will let singapore jimmy know.

da brain is leaving tomorrow. my lunch with him at the sizzler out in silom yesterday was our last meeting. see you in october or november, bro.

not much else to report. ..going to cook up some food now. then, play starcraft 2 until the witching hour. will make my way to the big T at around 9pm.

maybe I'll see big skippy tonight.

can't believe it is september already.

I haven't been to the big T for at least a week.

ever since I got this new computer game - starcraft 2, I'm pretty content with staying home.

last night, I actually had the chance to play with da brain online. but only for about 30 minutes since he had a golf date the next day. after the brief game online with da brain, I spent the next 5 hours playing starcraft 2 in campaign mode. went to sleep happy.

this morning, I woke up late. around 2pm. got calls from super glenn, hawaiian bob and da brain. hawaiian bob called because he was concerned about mike jagger. the guy's not answering his cell phone. (what's up, mike?) personally, I told hawaiian bob to not worry about mike jagger.

received a couple of calls from super glenn. reporting about his ride on the new makkasan airport link. etc.

got a call from da brain. meet up for lunch at this sizzler out in silom? why not? I replied. met up with da brain at 3:30pm. did sizzler. afterwards, we did hot coffees at black canyon over in the silom complex. at around 7pm, da brain left and went home to meet up with his GF - beautiful.

I did some window shopping at the central in silom. then, went straight home. no desire to go to the big T. wanted to get back to playing starcraft 2. hehehe.

and here I am... 3 hours later. writing this post. actually. taking a break from my starcraft 2. in about an hour, I'll get back on.

da brain is leaving in the next couple of days. going home for a couple of months. returning in late october or early november.

there are a bunch of lounge lizards in town. but I haven't heard from them much. guess they are busy with "things". going back to pattaya next week. not this week.

to jack dawson... when somebody likes to play mind games with you just to mess with you. what do you call that? some people say it's joking. then again there are those who call it being neurotic.

personally, I don't like people messing with my mind. imagine having 10 "friends" treating you this way whenever they pleased just so they can get a kick out of watching you being miserable. yeah. like they say, you wouldn't need enemies with friends like that.

nuff said.

what do you do when..

you discover someone you thought you knew is neurotic?  normally, I would just stop talking to the person. but it becomes a tough decision to make if it is someone you've known for years.  decisions, decisions, decisions....

I guess I'll let the issue sit on the backburner for now.  I rather not dwell on negative thoughts if I can.

curious as to what happened today?....

nothing much.  woke up.  did 2 loads of laundry.  met up with da brain over at pantip plaza at 3pm.  did lunch at the A & W.   yeah.  did the 2 pieces of fried chicken, curly fries, and a coke.

after lunch, we went window shopping around pantip.  get this.  FOUND an elbow power cord.

at around 4:30pm, we made our way to mbk.    had drinks at this mcdonalds.  then, went around window shopping.

at about 6pm, mr. nonami and golden bear met up with da brain and I for dinner.  we went to this buffet place called "kobe".  nobody really pigged out.  but we stayed the alloted hour and 15 minutes before leaving.

after dinner, we all separated. I took the BTS and MRT to get home.  and here I am, it's about 9:30pm now.  decided not to go out tonight.  may get the chance to play starcraft 2 online with da brain.

no other thoughts on my mind.  later.

a simple gathering...

the only thing that I did yesterday was get together with super glenn and da brain for lunch.  we met at this black canyon coffee shop over in rachada at around 3:30pm.  chatted a little.  at around 6pm, we all separated.

afterwards, I went over next door to this carrefour and did some shopping.  spent like 2 hours walking around the place.  picked up some groceries and went home.  got home at around 9pm.

that was my whole day yesterday.

when I got home, I worked on my computer a little.  encountered a problem with my recent cyberlink media suite 8 install which basically trashed my whole system.  (I couldn't recover even with my recent backups.  I wonder if the cyberlink guys know about this problem?)

anyway, I went back a couple of weeks to some old archived backups I had on another hard drive to resolve the problem.  took a lot of software reinstallations before I got back up to where I was before.

it's now about 5:30am.  yeah.  it took long enough.  time to go to sleep.
