get this, everybody. ..I've been living in bangkok, thailand for 10 years now. and I am starting on my 11th year.
last night in the lobby, I had a great time. got a couple of calls from the states. one from gomer pyle, the other from the sarge. met up with skyman for some hanging out time in the lobby and the parking lot. long time jesse, the handsome man, brian piccolo, the miner, clint eastwood, the guru, timberwolf, bronson, the analog man, the bookkeeper, jacques cousteau, hawaiian bill, richie rich, honda, gorgeous, the stunner, lady puu, and snow white all came by to join us.
it was a board meeting.
guess what? even barnaby made an appearance. as is his normal routine, he came by without an advance notice. a total surprise.
yes, had a great time in the lobby last night. EVEN with all the political chaos occurring around the city, this lounge lizard managed to cherish the moment.
tonight, tripod and deuce bigalow should be arriving into town. other notices... keannu reaves went to the PI. quick draw mcgraw is coming into town next week. the priest in about 2 weeks. the sarge in 3 weeks. got email from the sarge, super glenn, frank sinatra.
on a more somber note, let us all remember that someone was killed in the political chaos going on in thailand. I think it is safe to say that most of us would rather this had never happened. it is my fondest wish that thailand gets back on it's feet asap. we lounge lizards may not say it out loud. but we all love thailand.
for me, it is my second home.
