back on duty...

yesterday was my first day "back to work" so to speak. with the flu behind me, you can imagine how excited I was about going back to the looooobby. after 4 days in bed, I was getting stir crazy.

could it be? ..the "yojokun" techniques worked?

yesterday started out with my meeting up with da brain for lunch at mbk. I can't remember the exact time because I was still in a daze when I got there. then, we went to the starbucks for a cup of coffee. after a couple of hours of hanging out, I left them. and went to the lobby to meet up with gomer pyle at around 4pm. when I got to the lobby, I bumped into timberwolf, he told me that the sarge was hanging out in the cocktail lounge. so, I went over there to shoot the breeze with him for maybe 15 minutes.

gomer pyle finally arrived, and we went off to this shabusushi buffet place out in rachada. like always, ate until we were full. then, we walked from there to this soapie place. and did some major oogling. augusto came by to join us. over a drink, we all checked out the scene while talking about current events in the world.

maybe 45 minutes later, we went to the beer garden to hang out. da brain joined us there to hangout some. around 9:30pm, we moved from the beer garden, and went to the big T. did the same thing. oogle some, talk some. I was having a great time. denver terry, and singapore jimmy came by to join us there.

around 11pm I think, da brain went home. singapore jimmy and I left the big T, and went to the lobby. we met up with the sarge, and timberwolf. got into some major debates about current events.

when everybody left, I joined up with the analog man, the priest, and the silicon valley man. yes, the silicon valley man is back in town. haven't seen him in about a year. we talked some.

around 1am, went out into the parking lot with the priest. another round of talks. around 2am, denver terry and augusto joined up. I guess they were tired of the big T. YET another round of talks and oogling. after more than 8 hours of oogling and discussions, I was pretty much oogled OUT. my eyes were getting harder to keep open.

I could tell it was about time to go home. BUT I was really hungry. so, it was another late night roundavue at the burger king. the time was about 3am. it just so happens that augusto, and denver terry were also hungry. we all went to BK to eat. after taking care of our stomachs, we all went to the all night supermarket and stocked up on groceries. boarded a bus and got home around 4:30am. and that was it. went to sleep at 6am thereabouts. ONE HELL OF A RETURN to normal life.

I am doing this post at around noon. I think I am having a little relapse because of the long long day yesterday. but I am not sick, just tired. another few hours of sleep should do the trick.

..got word that one of the rookies from canada is coming back soon. maybe time for a new nickname.

did I miss something?? probably so. it was a VERY loooong day. yawn.
