the other day, it was like there was all this talk about the "red shirts" and nothing happened. BUT today, it was like the whole scenario turned around. and not only did you see "red shirts" EVERYWHERE - all over the city, traffic jams were the norm. I just got back from the lobby. the time showing on my clock is about 3:30am. and get this, the roads near my place are blocked. yes, you heard me right - THEY ARE BLOCKED! I had to walk about a mile through the blocked sections of the road to get back to my place. ugh!
what does this all mean? I don't know BUT my gut feeling is - the protest rally will converge into my area tomorrow. ..or rather in a few hours.
for some reason though.. I am not too worried about any possible violence YET. so, I am not planning to make a mad dash to the usa embassy tomorrow. (keeping my fingers crossed.)
with that major piece of info out of the way, let's get back to what happened to me yesterday.
where should I begin...
went to mbk to shop for some cell phone stuff at around 1pm. bought a new battery, a new case, a new belt. bumped into da brain at mbk. we had lunch together. then, coffee. spent an hour or so window shopping together. we ended our roundavue at mbk with dinner at the all-you-can-eat shabu shabu place. the time was about 8pm when da brain and I parted one another.
I stayed on at mbk and saw that movie "knowing" with nickolas cage. pretty good flick. enjoyed it immensely. it finished playing at around 11pm.
after the movie I went straight to the lobby. not much happening when I first got there. but at around 1am, things started to get interesting. duece bigalow introduced me to a couple of his friends. cutie pie 2, and cherries joubilee. angel came by and gave me a lesson on women in general. 2 lounge lizards that I haven't seen in about a year came back. do you people remember general patton, and the miner?
at around 2:30am, I went home tired to the bone. jesus! I am so tired. I can't even keep my eyes open.
good night, everybody.
