yeah. you heard right. I finally got the blender. decided on this philips model that has 600w motor, 8 speeds, and is built to make smoothies. I don't think it will last 20 years. but if I lose 20 to 30 lbs because of it, who cares, right?
as soon as I got home, I made a smoothie. it wasn't according to any recipe. just whatever I had available. 3 bananas, some mangosteens, a guava, and some grape juice. added a cup of ice. and that was dinner. for my first smoothie, I guess it was ok. I didn't want to puke. tasted ok. my stomach is full.
now, let's see what happens in a few hours.... will I get hungry again? get a spurt of energy? have an urge of some sort? who knows?.....
call this - day 1 - of my smoothie diet. weight - 88.7 kilos or 195 lbs.
so, what else has happened to me today, you ask?
....got a call from long time jessie. he's back in town. wants to get a lifetime membership at california wow. used my magicjack to contact american express in the states. works like a charm.
feel like taking a power nap now. 4 hours of window shopping was tiring. only enough time for a 2 hour power nap.
then, back to the parking lot.
yes, life is good.

uh oh, you don't sound too enthused about making smoothies! play around with the mixture a bit - you'll eventually find something you like. add some peanut butter!
