found a 32 inch tv for <15k baht.

actually, yesterday, just before I went to hangout with the boyz, I did some window shopping, and found a number of different tvs selling for around 15k baht. talk about being confused. not only were there like 8 different tvs of different brands hovering at around 15k baht, a number of them had "specials". that is, free dvd player went with the samsung. 2k baht discount on another one if paid in cash. etc, etc.

I ended up deciding on this LG 32 inch LCD tv (model LH20). is 14k baht a good price? I'm suppose to go buy it today. but the verdict is still out. I may back out at the last moment. christmas is coming up soon. and with christmas, as we all know, the sales will be coming up big time.

what to do?

I think I will go look at the tv one more time. and when it comes down to paying for it. if 14k baht is all that I will have to pay, I will pay it. BUT if someone comes up to me, and says there was a mistake and I need to pay more, I will hold off buying for another day.

as I predicted, SVA is exploding. ..the stock went up about 73 cents yesterday. the history of SVA shows that some profit taking will happen today. but then, who really knows? keeping my eye on it.

did I go to the lobby last night, you ask?

yes, I did. met up with the sarge. lended him one of the cell phones that I am collecting for lounge lizards in town without one to use. sarge says he will get a sim card for it today. so, maybe I'll get a text message from him later today.

I arrived at the scene at around 10pm. stayed until 11:45pm. actually had a crowd in the lobby last night. a rare occurance nowadays.

out in the parking lot, I bumped into arnold schwarzenegger. back in town for a couple of weeks. saw kid galahad. but he didn't see me. get this. saw uma thurman, but didn't stay to talk.

got a call from dennis the menace. so, I headed over to the big T to hangout with him some at midnight. chatted with errol flynn at the big T. he reports that he is retired now. but he is still debating how much time he will spend each year in thailand. patrick o'brien introduced me to a new lounge lizard from hawaii. haven't got around to giving him a nickname yet.

overall, it was a good day for me. had fun.

I decided to call it a night at 2am. went over to mcdonalds for a snack before going home. saw dirk bonapare there. singapore jimmy also came by to chat a little.

boarded the 3am bus for home.

the plan for today is - get my new tv. and go to the parking lot at night. that's it.
